Pirin Golf Hotel & Spa

We had a warm welcome in Pirin Golf club- the staff couldn't do enough to help and make us feel like kings! We can't recommend this hotel enough- the facilities were fantastic and the food was fresh and delicious. Thank you! We'd like to say a special thank you to Anife for her friendliness and kindness!

Pirin is a bit of a mish mash. We went for golf and the golf course, including the views, is excellent, as is the clubhouse. Pro shop staff are very helpful. Only thing I would say is that, although we dislike golf with a buggy, it’s a tough walk, so bite the bullet and use one. Now then, the hotel. Well, I think they are very confused about what they want to offer as all-inclusive. For a start to use the tea and coffee in your room, you are charged. However, the same tea bags can be picked up in the restaurant free of charge to take to your room. The water in the mini bar you pay for, but again, you can get bottles of water from the bar free. The all inclusive only includes local spirits, so it’s Savoy gin, vodka, whisky and brandy, and draught Bulgarian beer, as well as Bulgarian wine out of the box. It’s all fine. The restaurants. I assume that switching on a plate warmer must be horrendously expensive, as they have one but at first, didn’t switch it on. But then the breakfast buffet was always cold, so cold food on a cold plate ……… The evening buffet not a lot better. The buffet was also laid out when the hotel had low occupancy, so I dread to think how much food was wasted There is a dine around option and we used the Clubhouse - that was good. The Octopus - that was awful, and Casa di Pasta, which was excellent, except, there seems to be a tendency in the restaurants to serve the starter and main course at the same time! The rooms. Our room was good, well appointed, although the towels aren’t big enough, and the safe instructions are wrong (according to the security guard) The journey from the airport is 2 hours which is all ok ish. So there we are. Would we go again. Yes, if they made a decision if they want to be all inclusive or not, and if they decided to use warm plates And the views are fantastic

Very far away from Bansko gondola, about 20 min by personal car or shuttle bus. Advertised shuttle bus service is upon availability and only one per hour which is not nearly enough in peak season, many guests, ourselves included, did not catch the bus altough we were there 15 minutes before departure time. The bus leaves earlier than departure time when it is already full. Outdated hotel barely holding it together Varied food but mediocre Somehow clean in the rooms but a bad small from the sauna Personnel barely speaks English Reception personnel does not seem to care and barely speaks English. They gave us a standard room altough we paid for a superior room and refused to exchange the room or refund us the money difference Advertised ski storage service means your equipment is stored mixed with the rental equipment in the rental ski shop by staff who does not understand English. The hotel does not have any quiet hours. Very noisy kids playing with the ball at 23:00 near reception lounge and no one from the staff cared about it. The cleaning personnel was vacuuming at 6:00 in the morning.

Very nice hotel. Everything was perfect. The staff is very friendly. It is very nice place to stay for winter vacations. They offer free ski wardrobe and transfer for us, very nice and clean room and a delicious food in all restaurants in the resort.

Very nice place to relax with good mountain site and good staff. It was a wonderful experience from the beginning with warm welcome from the Indian From Office and bellman staffs. The food was good and the best thing about the hotel is the view. The staffs were vere polite and they were very cooperative with everything. We love to visit it again. Special thanks to Mr Satyam for making us feel so special. This time we were with our family. Hoping to be back soon with our friends again.
